Summer Fridays at the Frick Instrument Donation Drive

Join us on Friday, July 12th as we partner with the Frick for their Summer Fridays at the Frick concert series. Bring a new or gently used instrument to donate, relax on the lawn, and enjoy some music. All instruments will be distributed to local organizations and schools to support music access and education for kids in need. Instruments can be donated at the event or dropped off at the welcome center any day of the week throughout the summer. This is a family friendly event!
Featured music begins at 6:30pm on the North Lawn. This evening performance celebrates the closing weekend of Vermeer, Monet, Rembrandt: Forging the Frick Collections in Pittsburgh & New York exhibition. Daphne Alderson sings the longing of a “Girl Interrupted at Her Music,” in a love serenade to art and its magical healing powers. Join us under the sun, moon and stars for a magical evening with mercurial chanteuse Daphne and her extraordinary St. Michael Chamber Band. A donation of $5 per adult is suggested.
