Instruments are donated to The Farina Foundation in various states. We accept every instrument that can be feasibly and economically repaired. We ensure that the refurbished instruments are repaired to a usable, good condition and thoroughly sanitized. Minor cleaning and repair work could be as little as $50. However a complete refurbishment can cost up to $600. The average cost for instrument refurbishment is $200. Ultimately, those instruments are given to children who cannot afford to rent or purchase one of their own or music departments at the hundreds of underserved schools in the Tri-State Area.
